Hey Salox..ok I dont mean to be a downer or anything like that but i am NOT anticipating The last Airbender. I just dont like M. Night Shamilayn or how ever you spell his last name. He lives around me and I have been to one of his filmings and Idk..ive never liked his movies. And you have to aggree with me when i say that they picked really poor actors for the last airbender movie. I mean I will end up seeing it and I dont want to like put you down or anything...dont get me wrong...Avatar is my FAVORITE show and everything...im just saying. Aang doesnt look like Aang...i think i would perfer a girl then this kid...like the girl in from the Ember Island Players haha :) but thanks for keeping me up to date with the movie..and i still love your art keep up the great work :)

It's alright, but I do and don't agree with the actor statement. As far as Noah Ringer goes, I think he'll do a rather fine job acting out Aang. He's really great with the martial arts aspect, and we'll have to wait for more trailers or exclusives to see his true acting. I'm not so sure about Katara or Sokka, but at the same time we haven't seen pictures or videos of either of them in character, makeup, etc. therefore I shall not judge them in this movie quite yet. Dev Patel is a decent actor who seems to have the ability to pull off angsty Zuko so far.

As for M. Night Schyamalan, I don't exactly adore the man either, given his recent movie "The Happening", AKA "If you don't conform to this Global Warming scare, the trees are going to kill you", but at his core, I believe him to be an artistic director who has the ability to pull something like a live action Avatar movie off. You don't have to love the man, but you have to be willing to give him a shot with this. After having watched that trailer, I have more faith in this movie than I did before, given it's quality and attention to the source material. He's taking a unique route to making The Last Airbender, meaning he's staying as true to the source material as he can (the series), while still taking a unique enough approach such as to give Avatar it's own flavor in real life. The resources that are being poured into this movie are immense, those who are taking part in it's creation are some of the better, if not the best that the movie industry has to offer and have taken a part in some of the greatest movies that have come out in the last ten or so years, and so far, a good majority of Avatar fans are generally happy about the results.

I guess in the end, you can't make everyone happy XD. I just hope the quality of this movie never decreases, for the sake of, well... anything. But, don't worry, I do understand your point of view, and I'm glad that you still like my art XP. So, thank you, for both sharing your opinion with me and watching ^^.

I have to say that the effects in the movie do look awesome but i just dont know why i just didnt really like the scenes where aang is in the temple and he is blowing out the candles...but i did like the scenes where the boats were launching the fireballs tat the temple...that scene was...as i like to put it...badass :)
